Shane’s nostrils flared. He took three long strides that put
him right in Noel’s personal space, and Noel fought to stay still when instinct
suggested he take a step backward. Shane’s right hand landed softly on his hip.
Suddenly having Shane in his home didn’t seem so strange after all. It felt

“I want the same thing you want,” Shane whispered, silky

Noel’s heart skipped. “I know what I taste like.”
